Ember - Hot Rock from Austin

If you’re going to call yourself the hottest part of a fire, you had better have the talent to back it up. It’s a bold name for an energetic band with a very bold sound... ‘Ember’. If you truly love to rock, these guys are definitely worth looking into.
Currently
living in Austin… Chris, Duece, Jared, Dusty, and Chewy have been making quite
the name for themselves throughout Texas over the past couple of years. Playing
everywhere from the Texas Rockfest in Austin, the South Texas Motorcycle Show in
San Antonio, to college students over in San Angelo… they have been labeled
Texas’s greatest unsigned band. Laden with a captivating sound, memorable
lyrics, a sexy hard rock look, and a hypnotizing stage presence, these guys are
certainly making a bid for the title.
Ember’s live performance is what really sets these guys apart from their peers. Chris’s calm cool persona behind the mic balances out Jared and Duece’s wild antics on the guitar, while Chewy on the bass along with Dusty’s thunderous kick bring it all together to make an extremely cohesive sound that you won’t soon forget. I believe Chris said it best when he mused that they all “speak the same language in music”. When I asked the guys who their biggest musical influences were, Duece quickly looked up and just stated, “yes”. You will understand his answer when you hear the music.
I strongly encourage catching a live show if you get the chance. It
won’t be hard considering on average the band plays about 20-25 shows a month!
