The Freeman Coliseum played host to the 6th annual 2009 South Texas Motorcycle Show in San Antonio, TX last weekend, and the thrills were plenty. A full schedule of the top bands from San Antonio and Austin, Xtreem Street Stunt competitions and MC Host DJ Ocean from 98.5 'The Beat'... all set against the backdrop of motorcycle dealers, tricked-out bikes and various vendors offering everything from apparel to homemade root beer. 
Friday night was billed as "Ladies Night" - all the ladies got in for $5.00 all night. The evening was sponsored by Helmet Hair Magazine and Geico Insurance and featured LIVE remotes from 99.5 KISS and 104.5 KZEP, as well as live musical performances by the Nancy Silva Project and Ashlee Rose. Helmet Hair Magazine featured a video of Helpful hints from Heloise on a giant balloon video screen set next to the main stage.
Saturday kicked off with a hip hop theme from DJ Ocean as the Xtreem Stunt competition got underway. Crowd favorite and National Champion Bill "D" Dixon wowed the crowd with an amazing exhibition of "stoppies" backwards driving, standing, wheelies, back-wheelies and "backward stoppies". The other contestants including King Tony, Drastic Dan and OD Krew kept it close with various renditions of amazing stunts. Midway through the day, Sony/Epic hip hop artist Question? took the stage with special guests and closed out the hip hop portion of the show with a tribute to DJ Ocean and a crowd pleasing rendition of his hit song, 'Dance Like a White Boy'.
Saturday night featured rock band DRIVE and the finals of the Xtreem Stunt competition. as expected, National Champion Bill "D" Dixon took the top honors and performed some final stunts on Sunday set against live rock performances from 'Sound Dogs', 'Ember' from Austin and San Antonio's 'Drowning Mona'.
STXM 2009 turned out to be a great show and the weather cooperated through the entire weekend. Awards were given out for the Xtreem Stunt competion and the People's Choice for the coolest motorcycle in the entire place. Of course the Monster Fashion Models were there to help handout the awards and make all the winners look good for the photogs.
