♫Spring is in the air, love is everywhere...
time to spread your wings, my busy little bee ♫

Ready... Set... Spring Forward!

Rush, rush, rush… Fiesta this, Fiesta that, spring cleaning, Spurs in the playoffs… spring seems to be a very busy time of year. It must be the weather change. Everything and everyone seems to be stuck in overdrive. I guess there’s only so much that can be accomplished in the winter, so everyone plays “catch-up” in the spring. Yours truly is not impervious to the frantic pace either… my in-box has been growing at an expediential rate since the end of March. So, I’ve got my nose to the grind stone, my ear to the rail and a bucket full of high hopes for the new year. I’m going to do my best to keep up with all these “busy bees” and slowly, but surely, chip away at my own Mount Everest. That being said… let’s take a look at all the fun and excitement of those things that dot the I’s and cross the T’s of our busy little lives.

Did I mention Fiesta? Yes, we covered that… got some sweet pics from the River Parade that we’ll share with you. Of course it wouldn’t be spring without some spring runway action… Lacey Gruetzner has you covered with the Academy of Design and Technology’s IMAGINE 2010 Fashion Show. Adding icing to that cake is Lacey’s exclusive one on one interview with the grand host and fashion icon Nick Verreos. Nicole Watson and Susan Ward-Brooks strut their stuff with spring fashions and makeup trends. Grammy-nominated singer Stefani Montiel picks a dress designed by local designers for her big night at the Grammys in L.A. and MFM model Celeste Nicole stops by the studio for a quick shoot sporting some of her favorite traditional oriental apparel. To round things off, MFM photographers catch up with Lisa Chapman as she exits the S.A. Music Awards wielding her golden statue for ‘Best Female Vocalist’. Did I mention these were busy times?

See you in the summer.

Love jAcK
